Reservation criteria for existing 33 Sainik schools:
- 67% of the seats are reserved for candidates domiciled in the State/ UT where the Sainik School is located.
- 33% of the seats are reserved for candidates from Other States and Union Territories (UT).
Important: 49.50% of the seats in Sainik School are reserved For SC/ST/OBC (NCL) Category. and balance 50.50% of the seats, 25%of the seats are reserved for the wards of defence (Serving personnel of Indian Army/Indian Airforce/ Indian Navy) personnel and ex-servicemen.

Step 1- Candidate Read the AISSEE Information Bulletin PDF 2024 Before Applying for the Sainik School admission classes 6 and 9.
Step 2- The candidate Can Apply Between 07/11/2023 to 16/12/2023 Click the Apply link given below or Visit the official website at https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ and click the online Registration Tab online mode.
Step 3– Candidates ensure valid Email ID and mobile used in the registration form.
Step 4- First scan the photograph (size: 10kb to 200kb) photographs must be taken on or after 1st July 2023 preferably indicating clearly the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph and signature 4kb to 30kb as under the guidelines also Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression to be uploaded.
Step 5- Register basic details candidate should select any four cities of their choice for examination of AISSEE 2024 and Fill Out the Application form for AISSEE 2024.
Step 6-Upload the Required document Pay Examination Fee Payment.
